Mobile Sales

Establish a field commerce infrastructure that manages vehicle-based sales, distribution, collections, and customer visits end-to-end.

Mobile sales is an integrated business model that enables sales and distribution activities to be carried out from vehicles, sales stands, and customer locations instead of a fixed store or office. The system manages pre-sales, direct sales from the vehicle, order delivery, collections, product returns, warehouse movements, and field visits within the same operational structure.

Minerva Mobile Sales solutions enable field staff to access customer, product, price, campaign, stock, order, delivery, collection, and route information from mobile devices. These transactions are integrated with the sales, inventory, logistics, finance, and accounting processes within the ERP system.

In a mobile sales structure, the vehicle must be managed not only as a means of transport but also as a mobile warehouse, point of sale, delivery unit, and collection center. Therefore, vehicle inventory, personnel responsibilities, route plans, document numbers, and cash and payment transactions must be tracked in detail.

Mobile sales business models

  • Delivery of pre-ordered items by vehicle.
  • Taking orders during customer visits and then shipping them.
  • Direct sales from vehicle stock and immediate delivery.
  • Retail sales from a sales stand, event booth, or temporary sales point.
  • On-site execution of collection, return, empty container, and deposit transactions.
  • Sales, distribution, and customer service tasks are all performed within the same visit.

End-to-end operational structure

  1. Creating sales territory, route, customer and visit plans.
  2. Assignment of responsibilities for vehicles, personnel, equipment, and inventory.
  3. Vehicle loading according to orders and estimated demand.
  4. Conducting customer visits and field operations.
  5. Recording of order, sales, delivery, collection, return, and refund transactions.
  6. Creation of electronic delivery proofs and financial documents.
  7. Reconciliation of vehicle inventory, cash, and documents at the end of the day.
  8. Synchronizing data with the central ERP system and analyzing performance.

Works independently of a power source.

Field teams may work in areas with weak or intermittent internet connections. Essential operations must be able to be performed offline; customer, product, price, route, and inventory data must be stored securely on the device; and when a connection is established, changes must be transferred to the central system in a secure and traceable manner.

Real-time visibility and corporate control.

Once a connection is established, the center should be able to access up-to-date information on vehicle location, visit progress, vehicle inventory, delivered orders, collections, and exceptions. However, location and employee data should only be used within the framework of defined operational purposes, authorizations, and storage rules.

Manage your mobile sales operation not as a standalone application running on mobile devices, but as an integrated field execution layer of ERP processes, from sales to inventory and collections.
