Purchasing Accounting Definitions

You can define purchasing accounting definitions for the created group under the "Purchasing Accounting Definitions" tab.

After clicking the "New" button, you need to define a Purchase Types and Product Types from the combobox.

Determining GL Accounts

For all "Account Types" listed below, you can define Business Locations from the combobox and GL Accounts from the "Chart of Accounts" window.

  • Purchase Account
  • Sales Return Account

Determining Discount GL Accounts

After selecting Purchase Discount Type from the opened window, you can select Business Unit from the combobox and a GL Account from the "Chart of Accounts" window.

Inventory Transaction Accounting Definitions

You can define inventory transaction accounting definitions for the created group under the "Inventory Transaction Accounting Definitions" tab.

After pressing the "New" button, you need to define one/all Product Types from the combobox.

Determining GL Accounts

You can define a Business Unit and GL Account for all "Account Types" listed below from the "Chart of Accounts" window.

  • Inventory Account
  • Counter Account
  • Reclassification Calculation

Determining Discount GL Accounts

You can select the Purchase Discount Type , Business Unit , and GL Account from the Combobox in the " Chart of Accounts window.
