Goal setting is the process of identifying paths, goals, and guidelines that can help employees understand their work goals and how they should approach work.
The goals set should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound.
In Minerva, you can create goals under the "Goals" menu item.
Determining Target Information
After defining a "Name" for the target, you must select a Target Plan from the drop-down box, and then you can select a Target Category from the drop-down box.
Next, you must select a Person or Person from the window as the Target Owner , and similarly, you must select a Person or Person from the window as the Target Giver .
Determining Tracking Information
You can specify the following items to be used as tracking information for the target.
Target Registration Date: This date is automatically assigned by the system, but you can still change it by selecting it from the calendar.
Start Date: You can select this date from the calendar.
End Date: You can select this date from the calendar.
Closing Date: You can select this date from the calendar.
Status: You can specify the status of the target by manually selecting one of the following options.
Didn't start
Ongoing
Behind Targets
Successfully Completed
Partially Completed
Postponed - Stopped
Cancelled
Weight: You can write the weight.
Completion Rate: You can write the completion rate.
Determining Milestones
Under the "Milestones" tab for a goal, you can set multiple milestones for that goal.
You can also specify the following for the milestone.
Target date
Date of Realization
Completion Rate
Note: The number of milestone definitions you create here will be displayed in square brackets on the "Milestones" tab.
Recording Goal Achievements
"Achievements Under the " tab, achievements related to the goal can be recorded.
Note: The number of achievement descriptions you have saved here will be displayed in square brackets above the "Achievements" tab.
