Under the "Cash Collections" menu, you can record all cash collections, that is, cash that enters a "Cash Account".
Collection Information
First, you need to select a GL Cash Account and Business Unit .
Collection Lines
After saving the "Collection Information", you can start adding lines by pressing the "New Line" button.
Then you must choose a collection type.
The following "Collection Types" are standard in the system:
VEC - Cash Collection from Current Account
CHW - Bank Withdrawal
CQC - Cheque Cashing
PNC - Bill Collection
VGC - GL Account Collection
VEC - Cash Collection from Current Account
When you select a Business Partner Current Account , the GL Account field will be automatically filled by the system according to the definitions made in the current account.
Next, you need to type in a Transaction Amount .
Cash Collection from Current Account - Debt Closing
After completing the above records and clicking the "Create Journal" button, you can link to the collection-related documents (as explained below).
To list the documents available for this linking process, you need to press the " Closing Documents - Closing" button under the " Debt Closing" tab.
You can select the documents to be associated with the collection by checking their boxes, enter the amount (amount) to be closed in the relevant " Close Amount" field(s) and click the " Close Credit" button.
You can select "Confirmed" or "Cancelled" to indicate the status of the action.
Completing Cash Collections
After you finish recording cash collections, you need to click the "Create Journal" button.
Edit or Delete Cash Collections
To edit or delete cash receipt records, you must first press the "Make Unrecorded" button.
Viewing Accounting Voucher for Cash Collection
After completing the above records and clicking the " Create Journal " button, you can click the " Accounting Voucher " button on the " Cash Collection Information " screen.
