A safety data sheet is the identification card of a chemical product. It contains all the information needed by the purchasing company, the driver transporting it, the employee using it, and the emergency services responding to the situation, in a standardized format. Its structure consists of 16 sections, and this structure is the same worldwide.

The meaning of automated and multilingual production
Manually preparing safety data sheets is a significant workload, even for a medium-sized chemical company. A company with one hundred products selling to eight export markets has to manage eight hundred documents . Each of these must be reviewed whenever the recipe changes, supplier data is updated, or regulations change.
When managed manually, the result is inevitable: some documents are up-to-date, some are not; and which ones are current can only be determined by opening and examining them individually.

How does multilingual production work?
Standard expressions (H, P, EUH, and template texts) are maintained in the system as a translated library ; each expression has a unique official translation.
Product-specific free text is managed in separate sections based on language.
Country-specific differences (national legislation headings, limit values, emergency telephone numbers) stem from country profiles.
During document generation, the language and country are selected; the template then combines the data in the selected language.
All languages for the same product can be produced in bulk in a single process .

Requirements specific to Türkiye
In Turkey, safety data sheets must be prepared by a Chemical Assessment Expert certified by an accredited organization; the expert's name, contact information, and the date and number of their certificate of competence are included in section 16 of the document.
