System Languages and Language Translation Processes

In Minerva, the standard system languages are Turkish and English.

Additionally, you can define as many languages as you want and run the system in the language you want to select when logging into the system.

After selecting a System Language , you must type the "Oracle Language Code".

Next, you need to press the " Prepare/Update Language Tables" button to create all the system information; tables, screens, etc. to be translated.

Once this prepare/update process is complete,

  • System Tables
  • System Screens
  • System Definitions
  • System Information

buttons will be displayed on the "System Languages and Language Conversion Operations" screen.

In the next step, you can perform the Upgrade process by clicking the " Creating Master Language Table from System Source Codes " button on the " System Source Code Reference Language Table Preparation " screen.

Translating System Tables

In the "System Languages and Language Translation Operations" screen, after pressing the "System Tables" button, all "Text"s to be translated will be listed.

You can perform translation manually or automatically.

If you want to translate a specific text, you can find it by typing it in the "Language Expression" field and then pressing the "List" button.

Text Status

Text statuses are:

  • Not Conversion: This is the default status.
  • Draft
  • Approved

Manual Translation

In the "System Languages and Language Translation Operations" screen, after pressing the "System Tables" button, all "Text"s to be translated will be listed.

You can overwrite the translation in the "Text" field of the relevant language indicated by "Language Code".

The default status of "Not Conversion" changes to "Approved".

Automatic Translation

In the "System Languages and Language Translation Operations" screen, after pressing the "System Tables" button, all "Text"s to be translated will be listed.

You can select the following from the drop-down boxes:

  • Reference Language
  • Status: "All" option can be selected.
  • Table: "All" option can be selected.

Then you can press the "Translate" button and then the translation process is completed, you can press the "Save" button.

The default "NoTranslation" status changes to "Draft".

If you approve the text translation, you can select "Approved" from the associated drop-down box.

System Screens Language Translation Screen

In the "System Languages and Language Translation Operations" screen, after pressing the "System Screens" button, all "Text"s to be translated will be listed.

You can do the translation process manually and automatically.

If you want to translate a specific text, you can find it by typing it in the "Language Expression" field and then pressing the "List" button.

Text Status

Text statuses are:

  • Not Conversion: This is the default status.

    System Information Translation

    On the "System Languages and Language Conversion Operations" screen, after pressing the "System Information" button, all system information to be translated is listed.

    You can overwrite the translation after clicking the relevant "Information Text" button.

    Delete System Language

    To delete a created system language, you must press the "Delete Language Table" button on the "System Language Information" screen before deleting the language using the "Delete" button on the "System Languages and Language Conversion Operations" screen.
