Signs, Symbols and Pictograms

A pictogram refers to a graphic composition that may include other graphic elements as a symbol, such as a border, background pattern or color, designed to convey specific information.

In Minerva, signs, symbols and pictograms used for environmental, health and safety are defined under the "Signs, Symbols and Pictograms" menu.

All symbols used in the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) are standard within the system.

You can also define more signs, symbols, and pictograms according to your needs.

To do this, you need to click the "New" button and then select a Sign, Symbol or Pictogram Group from the drop-down box.

Then, to add an image, you need to press the corresponding "Send" button in the window and select an image among the Documents .

Note: If the image does not exist in the system, after pressing this window, you can add an image to Documents and then define it as the image of your pictogram, as described above.
