Current Account Collections

You can enter collections from current accounts for the following "Voucher Types":

  • GNL - General Collection
  • CHC - Cash Collection
  • CQC - Collection by Cheque
  • PNC - Collection by Promissory Note
  • KPC - Credit Card Collection [ Point of Sale - POS ]

Saving Collection Information

When you select a business partner current account, the GL Account field will be automatically filled by the system according to the definitions made for the current account.

You must select a Business Unit and Business Unit Cash Payment .

Add Collection Line

After saving the "Collection Information", you can start adding lines by pressing the "New Line" button.

Then you must choose a collection type.

The following "Collection Types" are standard in the system:

  • CHC - Cash Collection
  • CQC - Collection by Cheque Payee
  • CQR - Cross Payee Check
  • CQU - Bad Credited Cheque
  • CQY - Payee Check
  • PNC - Collection by Note of Credit
  • PNR - Our Receivable Note Refund
  • PNU - Our Unpaid Bill of Exchange Refund
  • PNY - Our Own Note Refund
  • KPC - Credit Card Collection [ Point of Sale - POS ]
  • KKR - Payment by Credit Card Cancellation

CHC - Cash Collection

We make a collection (payment) by taking cash.

You must select a Cash Account from the "Chart of Accounts" window and type the Transaction Amount .

CQC - Creditor Cheque Collection

By performing a receivables control, you are making a collection (payment).

You need to select a Bank from the window, then select the Maturity Date and Collection Date , and finally type the Amount .

Next, you must define the Borrower as "Self" or "Approved" by selecting it from the combobox.

You can also save the following control details:

  • Check No.
  • Bank Branch
  • Bank Account Number
  • Serial number
  • Place of Drawing

After saving the screen, the information you entered above can be viewed under the "Check Card" tab.

If there are other check transactions, the "Last Transaction Information" and "Initial Received Account" sections will also be displayed under the "Check Card" tab.

You can track not only the first and last transactions but also all checks under the "Check Card" tab -> "History" tab.

Collection with Receivable Check Information

According to the Check Portfolio and Check Portfolio Account definitions; Payee Check Account , Check Portfolio and GL Account fields will be filled automatically by the system.

Integration Information

You can save the following data for acceptance in e-check transactions.

  • Account Type: You can select Customer Check or Business Check from the drop-down box.

    The first and last transactions will also be displayed in the "Last Transaction Information" and "First Received Account" sections on the "Check Card" tab.

    You can track not only the first and last transactions but also all checks under the "Check Card" tab -> "History" tab.

    CQY - Our Check Refund

    You gave your own check (paid) to a business partner and now you are getting the check back.

    According to the definitions made in Check Portfolios and Check Portfolio Accounts ; Checks Payable Account , Check Portfolio and GL Account fields are automatically filled by the system.

    You must select the Check ID from the "Checks" window.

    After selecting a "Check ID", all information regarding the check can be viewed under the "Check Card" tab.

    The first and last transactions will also be displayed in the "Last Transaction Information" and "First Presented Account" sections under the "Check Card" tab.

    You can track not only the first and last transactions but also all checks under the "Check Card" tab -> "History" tab.

    PNC - Collection of Notes Receivable

    We make a collection (payment) by obtaining a note receivable.

    You must select the Due Date and Collection Date , and then type the Amount .

    Next, you must define the Debtor as "Self" or "Approved" by selecting it from the drop-down box.
