Product Recipes

Bill of Materials (BOM) is a list of parts or components required to create a product.

It is a list of raw materials, subassemblies, intermediate components, subcomponents, parts and the quantity of each required to produce a final product.

In other words; BOMs are a multi-level document that provides assembly data for multiple subcomponents, essentially products within products.

During product creation, materials or components are consumed and the product is created or manufactured.

Therefore, the BOM components must be extracted from predefined warehouses and the final product must be entered into a predefined warehouse.

Bills of Material (BOM) are defined for products on product master cards.

All the BOMs created for all products are listed in the "BOMs (BOM)" menu item.
