Parameters for Creating Financial Statements from Chart of Accounts
After saving the "New Financial Statement - Balance Sheet" screen, under the "Transactions" tab, you can specify the following financial statement creation parameters by selecting them from the drop-down boxes.
Starting Account Level
You can select the account level at which the accounts will start when creating the balance sheet.
Starting Account
The G/L accounts at the selected account level will be listed in the "Start Account" drop-down box.
You can select the initial account to be used in creating the balance sheet from the drop-down box.
End Account [ Included ]
The accounting accounts at the selected account level are listed in the "Ending Account" drop-down box.
From the drop-down box, you can select the ending account (this account will be included) that will be used in creating the balance sheet.
Detail Accounts Level
You can select the level of detail accounts from the drop-down box. If you prefer, you can select "All Detail Accounts".
Creating the Balance Sheet
After completing the above parameters, you can click the "Create Financial Statement" button.
After creating the balance sheet, the "Transactions" tab will be invisible. The created financial statement items will be listed under the "Items" tab.
Note: You can also view the financial balance sheet items by clicking the relevant " Declarations" button on the " Balance Sheet" screen.

Elements of financial statements are general groups of line items that appear in the statements.
Re-Balance Sheet Calculations
If you need to recalculate for a period of time, you can click on the relevant line and press the "Calculate Financial Statement" button.
Displaying the Calculated Balance Sheet
To view the Calculated Balance Sheet; In the GLA-500 - Balance Sheet report, you must select the Code - Name " Financial Statement " box that you specified during balance sheet creation (as explained above).
