When a demand is identified, it is necessary to assign a supply source to that demand (e.g., an external supplier). The Minerva system has functions to automatically assign a source to a demand (e.g., if there is a single supply strategy or quota arrangements are defined among several suppliers) and also allows for the manual assignment of a source to a demand.
