You may need to define the actions that should be taken for a business object.
In Minerva, you can define Business Object Action Sets to manage the workflow of a business object.
You can define multiple actions for an action set and assign the action set to business objects.
For example, you receive a sales order from your customer. First, you want your sales manager to approve the order, and then you want to notify your customer that the order is in progress. You can create an action set as "Actions for New Order" and add two actions to the set; "Manager Approval" and "Send Email to Contact". Finally, you can assign the action set to Sales Order.
Creating a Business Object Action Set
You can start creating a business object action set with the "New" button.
Business Object Action Set Status
To validate an action set, its status must be set to "Active".
After saving the "Business Objects Action Set Information" screen, you can add actions to it.
In the "Actions" tab of the "Business Objects Action Set Information", you define actions such as "Send Email to Contact". You can define more than one action.
By clicking the New button, you can start creating a New Business Object Action .
Available Business Objects
In the "Available Business Objects" tab of the "Business Objects Action Set Information", all Business Objects are selected so that the "Workflow - Action Object ?" field is set to "Yes". Among these business objects, you need to check the business objects for which the action set should be displayed as "Active".
