Assigning Tasks

After clicking the "New" button, you can begin assigning tasks under the "Tasks" tab.

Note: All information on this page can be applied to any Strategy Component under its own "Tasks" tab.

General Task Information

You must select a "Task Type" from the drop-down list and define a Subject for the task.

Task Type

You must select a Work Type from the list.

Defining the Contact Person

To define a contact person, you must select the "Contact Person" checkbox. After selecting this checkbox, the "Contact Person - Business Partner" section will be displayed, and you can select the relevant contact from among the business partners with the "P - Person" type.

Task Scheduling

When creating a task, you must define the following fields:

  • Start Date - Time
  • Work Duration
  • End Date - Time ( The system automatically displays the end date and time based on the selections above. )

Note: Based on this scheduling definition, a plan will be displayed under the "Work Plan" tab.


You can also define the following fields:

  • All-Day Activity?
  • Private?
  • Priority
  • Importance Level
  • Completion %

Task Status

The default task status is displayed as "Planning."

You can change the status to one of the following when necessary.

  • DA - Planning
  • LA - In Progress
  • PA - On Hold
  • XA - Completed
  • XB - Completed Without Achieving the Objective
  • YA - Cannot Be Completed
  • YC - Cancelled
  • YF - Postponed

Color Selection

You can select a color to be applied to the task row in the "Tasks" list.

You can use these colors to create visual groupings and similar classifications.

Organization Information

You must select a Task Owner from the window.

You can select a Management Organization and a Department Owner.

The logged-in user will be displayed as the Assignee by default. You can change the assignee by selecting another user from the window.

Setting Alerts for the Task

You can set multiple alerts for a task.

After clicking the "New Alert" button on the "Task Information" screen, you must define the date and time of the alert.

To do this, you can select an "Alert Date" from the calendar and edit the time displayed in the "Alert Date" field, or select a "Time" from the drop-down lists and one of the following "Alert References." The system will then calculate the alert date and time based on your selections and display it in the "Alert Date" field.

For example, if you select "Start Date" as the alert reference and "10 minutes" as the time, the system will set an alert for 10 minutes before the task start date.


After creating the alert or alerts, they will be displayed on the "Task Information" screen.

You can delete an alert by clicking the icon next to it.

Alert Reference

If you want the system to calculate the date and time of the alert, you must select one of the following references from the drop-down list.

  • From the start date
  • From the end date

Recording Completed Activities

You can record the Activities performed in response to tasks under the "Tasks" tab -> "Activities" tab.
